Enclosures can be supplied already
machined to customer drawings for prototype and production
runs.
For small quantities, high quality
jigs are used to ensure accuracy and repeatability. For large
quantities, or where complexity dictates then numerically
controlled machines are employed.
Standard and special punch tools
are available and for large batches offer a low cost method
of customising plastic enclosures and metal panels.

Depending on the size of the enclosure
and the plastic material, special colours are available for
relatively small quantities, even on scheduled orders. Colours
for moulded plastic enclosures should be selected from the
RAL colour range.
All metal and some plastic enclosures
can be painted or powder coated to the BS or RAL colour range.
Finishes include stipple, matt, semi-matt and gloss.

The emphasis on security and safety
has resulted in a need for enclosures secured with tamperproof
screws to prevent unauthorised entry and yet allow easy access
by personnel with the correct tools.
A number of our enclosures and
cases are available with the option of tamperproof screws.

Logos and other graphics can be
screen printed on to metal and plastic enclosures and front
panels from customers free issued artwork.
A range of colours are available
and to ensure durability epoxy ink is normally used.

For marine application aluminium
enclosures can be supplied hard anodized or chromated and
finished with seawater resistant paint.

With the need to protect equipment
from interference and reduce radiation, plastic enclosures
can be supplied with internal metallic screening to reduce
RFI/EMC.
